Xtreme Sports for Erewash

A new addition.

The Mobile Activities Unit is going from strength to strength – thanks to funding from the Community Safety Partnership. The unit will soon be delivering a wide range of new activities across Erewash. These will include offering youngsters the opportunity to make their own music and visuals, scratch or DJ (with vinyl and CDs) and even get the chance to learn street dance skills.

Suzi ShortlandJoining Matt Ward (Mobile Activities Leader) is Suzi Shortland who will help Matt to deliver these activities. For further details and future events we will shortly be revealing our brand new website, so please keep an eye out on the Culture and Leisure pages of our website for news of when the website is completed.

Matt and Suzi (pictured) already run various activities throughout the borough. From skateboarding, BMXing and Inline Skating with our excellent mobile skate park right through to climbing or abseiling with the UK's TALLEST mobile climbing wall (reaching a grand height of 30ft).

Why not come along! After all, it's completely free! And if you're still unsure, then all our events are supplied with safety equipment and trained staff will be watching over you or guiding you throughout.
