Victoria
Park Leisure Centre is situated on Manners Road, Ilkeston between
the cities of Nottingham and Derby. We are within easy access of the
A52 and M1 junction 25 (Long Eaton) or 26 (Nuthall).

There are approximately 56 parking spaces
(including 2 Disabled spaces) at the leisure centre. There is
additional free parking available close by at Victoria
Park and the town centre car parks are only a 10 minute walk from
the leisure centre. |

Whether you want to
learn to swim, ride the flume, train, relax or just make
new friends The Victoria Leisure Centre is the club for you.
Victoria Park Leisure
Centre is located close to the centre of Ilkeston, and
adjacent to the beautiful Victoria Park. The centre offers a
wide range of aquatic sporting and recreational activities for
the enjoyment of all. There are three swimming pools, the Main Pool, Splash Pool
and Teaching Pool, which are complimented by flumes, slides,
spa pools, sauna and changing facilities.
The Cafeteria serves hot and cold refreshments and snacks
and also doubles as an activity room during the school term
time. The Centre operates a varied program of aquatic activities
for adults and children, also on offer are our Children's
Birthday Parties and a comprehensive program of Swimming
Lessons.

Maximum Occupancy = 50.
The cafeteria
doubles as a small activity room during the day in term time,
which is utilised for a program of Look After Your Heart
sessions. The Cafeteria offers a variety of hot and cold
snacks and refreshments, and also caters for children's
birthday parties at the weekends.

Facilities |
|
Wheelchair access to the
swimming pools are from the top end of the car park, prior
contact is required to allow the staff to open the emergency
access door onto the 1st floor where the pools and disabled
changing facilities are located.
The 2nd floor is not accessible to wheelchair users as
there is no lift or alternative methods of access.
All pools have access to a disabled hoist, which staff will
operate to allow disabled users easy access to the pools.
Members of staff will assist disabled users wherever
possible on request.

Erewash Borough Council operates a
'Facility for Leisure Card' concessionary scheme, which is
available to residents of the borough for the following
categories:
- 60 +
- Full Time Further Education
- Disabled
- Income Support
- Jobseeker
- Complete the form, which is available from the Leisure
Centres or Council offices and return complete with proof of
entitlement, passport photo for applicants and dependants
over the age of 8 and the appropriate fee. Your card will be
processed and forwarded to you on completion.
Your card will entitle you to:
- 60 + Swim for reduced charge - all public sessions
- Disabled Free Swimming - all public sessions
- Full Time Further Education Free Swimming - Exc.
Weekends & after 6pm
- Income Support Free Swimming - Exc. Weekends & after
6pm
- Jobseekers Free Swimming - Exc. Weekends & after
6pm
