Whether you want to learn to swim, ride the flume, train, relax or just make new friends The Victoria Leisure Centre is the club for you.
Also known as Ilkeston Swimming Baths the Victoria Park Leisure Centre is located close to the centre of Ilkeston, and adjacent to the beautiful Victoria Park. The centre offers a wide range of
aquatic sporting and recreational activities for the enjoyment of all. There are three swimming
pools, the Main Pool, Splash Pool and Teaching Pool, which are complimented by flumes, slides,
spa pools, sauna and changing facilities.
Anyone aged 16 and under or 60 and over, no matter where you live (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire etc)will be able to Swim for FREE

Bar Hours:
Monday -Saturday - 11.00am - 11.00pm
Sundays: Noon - 10.30pm
10.00am - 6.00pm - £3
All Other Times - £4
Shoe Hire - £1.00
There are approximately 56 parking spaces (including 2 Disabled spaces) at the leisure centre. There is additional free parking available close by at Victoria Park and the town centre car parks are only a 10 minute walk from the leisure centre.
The Cafeteria serves hot and cold refreshments and snacks and also doubles as an activity room during the school term time.
The Centre operates a varied program of aquatic activities for adults and children, also on offer are our Children's Birthday Parties and a comprehensive program of Swimming Lessons
Erewash Borough Council is committed to promoting healthy and active lifestyles within our community. To encourage this we have committed £2.39 million to the refurbishment of Victoria Park Leisure Centre in Ilkeston which could rise to £2.8 million if a bid to Sports England is approved. We want to provide a high quality leisure facility that meets the needs of all the members of our community.
