The event invites you to step back in time to relive the
life and times of the city’s most famous legend. Throughout the weekend
the Castle grounds will be transformed into a medieval village encampment,
re-creating an atmosphere of a time long past. Come along to join in the
festivities! Hear musicians, watch entertainers, visit the craft stalls
and take part in their traditional activities - or why not cheer on your
hero in the amazing live jousting action in the arena. Living history
demonstrations, falconry displays and a medieval alehouse all add to what
promises to be a fun packed family day out.
