The
Girl at the Window
Ilkeston
Ghost Walks 2008
Due to popular demand Sustained
Magic will return with another instalment of their well known
ghost walks. October
26th, 27th and 28th, the run
up to Halloween, will see the return of Ilkeston’s very own
original ghost walk.
Based
on true stories and researched by Sustained Magic the walk
lasts roughly two hours and both starts and ends at the
Erewash
Museum
. Costing only £6
(hot chocolate and snacks included) the tour visits many of
the well and some of the not so well known spooky areas of
Ilkeston. Find out
the truth about the strange Hornthorn House, hear about the
Ilkeston Giant, visit the site of a unmarked grave yard and
hear about the strange goings on in the
Erewash
Museum
.
With
over 400 walkers to date the ‘Girl at the Window’ walk has
attracted both young and old, believers and nonbelievers.
Some have experienced strange spectra’s and others
have reported seeing and hearing unknown happenings.
The only way to find out is to experience the walk
yourself. Sustained
Magic will be running this version of the walk for the last
time and expects tickets to sell quickly as normal.
Tickets are on sale at the
Erewash
Museum
now and cost £6 per person.
The walk starts promptly at 7pm at the Museum.
Dress warm and please be aware this walk involves
accessing areas with limited wheelchair access.
Contact the museum 0115 9071141 to book tickets or
