West Hallam Well Dressing Festival Revived for 2009 – Saturday 11th July 2009

This year the traditional West Hallam Well Dressing Festival will play host to many new and exciting attractions including:

Arts Market featuring local artists and crafts persons.
With ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, fine art paintings and many more. All work on show will be for sale.

Scarecrow Trail
Life-size scarecrows, made by local residents will be on display throughout the Well Dressing week. Take a walk around the village and see how many you can find.

Fantasy Creature Workshop with local artist Rachel Carter
Creative workshop for children. (small fee applies)

Decorated Wells
Various subjects and themed wells sited around West Hallam Village area and church

Plus: Street Dancing, live music, kung fu demonstration and much more!

Date: Saturday 11th July 2009
Time: 1.30pm – 5pm

Road closed through the village 1.30pm – 5pm, parking available at Scargill School
Traditional dressed wells and scarecrow trail will be in display throughout the week.
