spectacular firework display in Erewash which regularly attracts more than 12,000 people. It is a
fantastic community event that really does have the ‘Feelgood Factor’ . . . so see you there!”
Discounted advance tickets are available now from West Park Leisure Centre, Long Eaton,
Rutland Sports Park, Ilkeston, Long Eaton Town Hall and Ilkeston Town Hall.
Admission is £12.50 for a family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) on the night - or £9.80 in advance.
Other prices are: Under 16s and over 60s, £2.50 on the night (£2.20 in advance); adults, £5 on the night (£4.30 in advance).
Under 5s, free entry.
Further discounts are available for Leisure Card holders.

The countdown is now underway to this year’s Erewash Bonfire and Fireworks extravaganza, a sparkling night of fantastic
family fun which always attracts thousands of people. A blazing community bonfire, funfair rides, food stalls and a fabulous
firework fiesta based on the TV favourite Strictly Come Dancing will make the 2009 Erewash spectacular a must for people of all ages.
And tickets for this unmissable night are already on sale - meaning families can save themselves money by buying their admission
to this ever-popular event in advance.
This year’s civic spectacular will get underway at 6pm on Thursday 5th November at West Park, Long Eaton and the evening’s
timetable includes:
6.30pm - magical lantern procession featuring local schoolchildren, who have made the lanterns during school workshops with
a professional artist over the last few weeks.
7pm - the bonfire will be lit by the Mayor of Erewash, Councillor Terry Holbrook.
7.30pm - firework display to music based on Strictly Come Dancing.
