for Health Groups There are several Walking for
Health groups that meet within the Borough. These groups
provide an ideal opportunity for you to improve your
health. To find out when the groups meet visit the events

Ilkeston Walking for Health Group -
Program
Every
Monday we usually meet outside Victoria
Park Leisure Centre, Ilkeston at 10.30am (unless stated
below).Walks are flat, avoid stiles, are 2 - 3 ½ miles along, are
usually circular and take about an hour (ideal for those recovering
from illness). Everyone walks at their own pace, as trained
leaders walk at the pace of the fastest and slowest walkers.
At the end of the walk, stay for a cuppa and a chat. Sturdy
footwear and appropriate waterproofs are advised.
